Employment Opportunity with UNA-Canada

Our national branch, UNA-Canada, is currently recruiting a full-time Project Officer to develop, plan, implement and evaluate our Model Assemblies.

The Project Officer (PO) supports in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of UNA-Canada’s Model Assemblies and experiential learning programmes for young leaders, and reports directly to the Programme Manager, Education and Youth. The PO will assist the Programme Manager in substantive development (topics, format, content), operations (logistics, event planning, recruiting and training volunteer staff), and communications (marketing, recruitment, fundraising, reporting) for the following programmes: 2015 Canadian International Model United Nations (CANIMUN), a nationwide Model Assembly network, and The New Diplomacy of Natural Resources and the development of new initiatives.

This is a full-time, contract position from 2014 July 28 – 2015 April 30 with possibility of renewal.
